Welcome Back!

Welcome back! As I am sure you all know, the 2014-15 school year kicks off on Tuesday, August 12. There is an open house in the classroom from 3:00 to 3:40 this Friday, followed by an ice-cream social in the cafeteria. Thanks so much for taking a few minutes to complete the form below to help me maximize the learning and potential of your child this year!

A Few Of Our Favorite Things...

Every student brought in a colorfully decorated "Getting to Know You" bag this week. Throughout the week students presented their bag and its contents to the class. Students were eager to show everyone what prized possessions they had brought in to share. I love this project because it gives everyone a chance to share a piece of themselves and we all get to know each other a little bit better.

I am very excited to be teaching the 1st/2nd self-contained gifted class at Fireside Elementary for the 2013-2014 school year!
